Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at Welsh Equipment. The ideal candidate will manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and budgets for management review.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax
• requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits and tax filings.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and protect company assets.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in accounting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
