The Manager, Beverage & Wine Programs will lead and support They will drive the development, execution and sustainment of the operational vision for current ships, dry docks and new builds and the Beverage & Wine operation across the fleet.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible to provide Operational Guidelines, objectives, direction and support to all fleet Beverage Managers.
  • Supervising all wine service standards fleet wide
  • Responsible for promoting wine salesmanship and revenues.
  • Management accountability for all Beverage Staff for day-to-day and long-term operation.
  • Accountable for monitoring and developing wine revenues and all financial related operations.
  • Promote innovation and changes to our wine menus and wine selections.
  • Ensures that all wine products served meet the established specifications and standards.
  • Implementation of all wine list according to the latest trends, competition and crew demands and needs.
  • Work with current and new vendors around the globe to ensure steady supply and variety for the Beverage wine program.
  • Have a strong understanding of local and international bar laws.
  • Responsible to build, evaluate and monitor Beverage wine training programs.
  • Selecting new equipment for the wine cellars.
  • Create all group functions for wine and food offerings in coordination with the culinary team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years in as a Wine manager Sommelier / Leader position shipboard or Land based
  • Strong wine knowledge and planning skills
  • Previous experience crafting wine lists and wine pairings
  • Experience running / leading a guest-facing team in a luxury setting
  • Effective verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
