About The RoleWe are looking for an accounting team member to join our extremely high growth, NASDAQ-listed company in the Bitcoin mining industry. This position will report directly to the AP Manager.
The responsibilities and authority of the position are consistent with those customarily assigned to an A/P Analyst team member of a public reporting entity including, but not limited to, processing invoices for multiple subsidiaries and working closely with vendors and various internal departments.
Essential Functions
- Accurately and timely enter invoices in NetSuite, including coding and obtaining supporting documentation and approvals.
- Research and resolve invoice issues, working closely with vendors and various departments.
- Reconcile vendor statements, including researching and resolving discrepancies or other payment issues.
- Process employee expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policy.
- Monitor payment schedules to avoid processing delays.
- Communicate with vendors, operations team members, and others on a frequent basis.
- Understand capital versus expense accounting and appropriately apply the Company’s capitalization policy, including working closely with various departments to ensure proper coding.
- Partner with the Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate recordkeeping.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and testing requirements.
- Perform various other duties as necessary.
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP principles.
- Work independently and take initiative.
- Prioritize and manage workload to meet critical deadlines.
- Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills to support the needs of auditors, operations, management, and others.
- $45,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience
