Position Summary:

Helitech is experiencing significant growth and is actively seeking a Bilingual HR Assistant to join our Human Resources Team. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks related to human resources, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy. From large-scale paper to electronic filing projects to collaborating with various organizations for recruitment efforts, this role offers a diverse array of responsibilities within the HR domain. What this position looks like for you:

  • Lead large-scale projects transitioning paper records to electronic filing systems.
  • Conduct HR audits including but not limited to workers' compensation, I9 verification, E-verify, and Motor Vehicle Records (MVR).
  • Collaborate with local career fairs, job-seeking organizations, and veterans associations to source talent for both our home and satellite offices.
  • Partner with local volunteer organizations, trade schools, and high schools to identify and engage potential job candidates.
  • Assist with onboarding tasks for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Support with benefits administration, including 401k enrollment, open enrollment, and termination processes.
  • Aid in the creation and maintenance of HR forms, handbooks, policy updates, and compensation plans.
  • Provide substantial support in workers' compensation matters, including injury reports, safety regulations, OSHA compliance, and special pay rates for injuries.
  • Manage Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks for employees as required.
  • Foster employee engagement by coordinating anniversary and birthday celebrations.
  • Be flexible to assist with any other duties as assigned by the HR team.

  • Bilingual proficiency is required.
  • Prior experience with HR policies and procedures is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive HR data.
