Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Communications Specialist opening for our client in California.

Location : Remote but client prefers CA candidates

Duration : 4 months contract with ability to go longer

Overview :

This position supports global corporate communications through the development of time-sensitive company news and information.

The person will be on point for day-to-day operations of the company’s editorial planning calendar, preparing content for publication on multiple channels.

Duties :

  • Collaborates with Content Team, including head of content and graphic designer, as well as other contributors within the department to establish and maintain editorial calendar.
  • Develops content, including articles, blog posts and social content, and prepares it for publication using SharePoint, WordPress, Hootsuite, and other technology tools, meeting regular deadlines.
  • Maintains / updates relevant content on intranet and corporate website.
  • Gathers monthly metrics to share key learnings with the team about engagement with our content among key audiences.
  • Supports transition of content from current SharePoint platform to new online platform and other related enterprise launch activities.
  • Provides support for other communications as needed.

Skills & Experience :

  • Proficiency in SharePoint; working knowledge of WordPress
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfort with different forms of technology
  • Knowledge of AP Style a plus

Education :

Bachelor's Degree

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
