We are currently seeking a motivated and intelligent individual to join our Revenue Management team at Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing. What you will do: The Pricing Analyst will generate product pricing and lead time for Government, OEM and Aftermarket customers, that meet company goals and demonstrates good business practice. Responsible for development of market pricing utilizing tactical pricing tool, while ensuring and accurate cost base. Independent thinker who will lead projects and deliver tasks on time. Analyze cost data, past selling price trends, open market availability and market needs to establish profitable fair market price for our products. Develop consistent pricing philosophy/strategies within the company including consistent margin improvements. Maintain on time quote performance at company standards. Analyze Customer accounts for profitability and discounts when requested. Determine when discounts are to be given. Analyze performance by License Code. Review request for quotes for any requirement that would affect the cost of the product. Review drawings for complexity to determine risk involved in building and testing product. Participate in pricing negotiations. Improve current tools and develop new tools to price a high volume of low value orders. Improve and expand the current Price Book of assemblies and parts. Assist Engineering by validating older previous estimates, when new quotes or new quantities need to be quoted. Assist Adoption Managers with new adoptions to understand Licensors pricing and estimating practices for adoption and modification to Ontic practices. Work closely with Customer Service Manager to develop winning pricing strategies. Take global view of company profit and pricing objectives and implement them on a micro-level by part number. Ability to use tools such as learning curves, etc. to accurately price various/multiple quantities without depending on additional resources. Assures efficient use of resources and high service levels. Give clear instructions to IS for building database systems for tracking/reporting purposes. What you need: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering Information Systems or equivalent experience Aerospace pricing experience (DoD and Commercial) required Ability to read and understand overhaul manuals and blueprints Ability to apply leadership techniques Advanced skills in Excel, Word and Outlook Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
