Southport Engineered Systems is Hiring an Accounting Specialist Near Caledonia, WI
- Receive and distribute all electronic supplies invoices for approval and processing through our ERP systems.
- Review and research supplier statements for missing invoices and advise vendors on the status of payment.
- File invoices and manage retention of all paperwork.
- Process weekly Payroll for 145 employees.
- Enter employee tool purchases in Paycor.
- Executes and reviews payroll reports.
- Completes and sends weekly certified payroll reports, when required for jobs.
- Ensures that employee payment information is sent to Paycor, and then processed in Paycor (such as child support, garnishments, etc.)
- Mail Menard's rebates
- Assist HR department with any personnel, payroll, and employee benefit matters.
- Collect and distribute daily mail.
- Back up for taking inbound customer calls for Service Division
- Miscellaneous general ledger account reconciliations.
- Perform all other duties assigned to this role.
- Associates degree in accounting or another related field
- 1-2 years’ accounts payable experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Excel experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
