Responsibilities

As a dental assistant, you play an important role in our office and perform limited clinical duties under the direction of a dentist. Clinical duties include equipment preparation and sterilization, preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during treatment, assisting with root canals, packing cord, making temps, Itero scanning, invisalign procedures and providing patients with instructions for oral healthcare procedures. May perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records. Must have a positive attituted

Qualifications

• DA II
• X-ray certification.
• Itero Scanning
• Assisting Dr. w/RCT procedures, packing cord, making temps
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS and infection control training as required by law.
• Experience with relevant dental software.
• Assisting in sterilization.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
