DescriptionWe are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team located in Butler, Pennsylvania. This role is crucial to our operations as it involves strategic, analytical, and decision support for assigned departments. The objective is to understand and lead within the assigned department, identifying strategic, tactical, and operational objectives. This role offers a chance to become a valued member of the team and a leader within the industry.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with various departments to understand business operations and requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to diagnose business problems and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor business strategies and key performance measures.
  • Collect and interpret operational data and create reports for management.
  • Assist with decision-making processes by presenting relevant business insights.
  • Conduct regular business process reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and conduct workshops to define business requirements.
  • Work with the IT team to improve and maintain business systems, if necessary.
  • Participate in the implementation of new systems and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Finance, Business Administration or other quantitative discipline
  • Four or more years of analyst experience, telecommunications experience a plus
  • Expert Excel skills with experience designing and creating models
  • Experience working with large data sets, including defining query logic, querying, validating, cleansing and analyzing
  • Hands-on experience with developing new SQL queries and analyzing existing ones
  • Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI, desired
