Job Summary:
The specialist is responsible for the development, support, and maintenance of various applications that underpin the business and clinical goals of the organization. These applications may encompass Financial & Resource Management, Patient Management/Accounting, Web Technologies & Integration, Clinical EHR, and Ancillary Systems. The role supports a range of services including inpatient, ambulatory, home care, and long-term care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, support, and maintain applications critical to business and clinical objectives.
- Oversee applications such as Financial & Resource Management, Patient Management/Accounting, and Clinical EHR systems.
- Ensure applications support various healthcare services, including inpatient, ambulatory, home care, and long-term care.
- Work collaboratively with business and clinical teams to align application functionality with organizational needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to maintain operational efficiency.
- Participate in the installation, upgrading, and repair of software as necessary.
Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Business, Nursing, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in areas such as Financial & Resource Management, Patient Management/Accounting, Web Technologies & Integration, or Clinical Systems. Specific experience related to assigned responsibilities is preferred.
- Additional Experience: At least 1 year of progressively responsible work experience in software development and systems application, including supervisory responsibilities, is preferred.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams to meet the organization’s business and clinical objectives.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
