Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the accounting team to ensure effective operation of the department.
- Oversee the processing of month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Ensure accuracy in the preparation and issuance of financial statements.
- Handle HR-related tasks as required within the department.
- Oversee the processing of payroll to ensure accurate and timely payment to all employees.
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Handle other accounting tasks as required to support the financial health of the company.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related preferred
- 5 years of Accounting experience
- Familiarity with Sage 100 software for business management
- 2 years of Controller or similar experience
- Construction experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with Sage 100 software for business management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management and collaboration
