DescriptionThis is a blended position with expectations of assisting Reception and Activities departments while not driving. The Driver is responsible for safely transporting Residents in our 14-passenger van. The Driver is responsible for managing Resident files on the van. The Driver will review the driving schedule online and with the Transportation Coordinator. Driver will assist Residents with occasional shopping. The Driver will substitute at the Reception Desk, work with Activities Director to assist as needed. It is important for the Driver to be responsible for passenger securement and lift operation.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Friendly disposition and good customer service skills
- Experience with passenger protocols including passenger securement and lift operation
- Experience with using mirrors on large vehicle
- Experience and familiar with protocol for 911 calls
