Key Responsibilities:

1. General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger, including recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
2. Accruals and Prepayments: Support the monthly accrual process by identifying and recording accruals for expenses and revenues incurred but not yet invoiced or paid, as well as prepayments for expenses paid in advance.
3. Month-End Close: Participate in the month-end close process by preparing and reviewing various reconciliations, analyzing account balances, and assisting with financial reporting activities.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor management, customer invoicing, and collections as needed.
5. Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, and management reporting to support decision-making and business performance evaluation.
6. Audit Support: Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation, responding to inquiries, and assisting with audit fieldwork as required.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures in all accounting activities.
8. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and enhance controls to strengthen the financial reporting function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in accounting, or related field required.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with exposure to accrual accounting principles and multi-location preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software and ERP systems required; knowledge of QuickBooks or NetSuite is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts, processes, and technologies to support professional growth and development.
