POSITION SUMMARY : The Utility Worker I Wastewater Conveyance position is responsible for a multitude of tasks, which may vary from day to day, but will primarily involve performing tasks required in operation, maintenance, and repair of the sewer collection system and related components;
performs work as assigned in areas of water distribution, water meter reading, and maintenance. This is an entry level position which trains to acquire skills in installation and repair of sewer and water piping and all related components, water meter reading, installation, and repair, and equipment maintenance and operation in preparation for future advancement.
This position works under the direct supervision of the Division Supervisor or Division Manager and reports indirectly to the Assistant Director and the Director of Utilities.
CLOSING DATE : Until Filled.
WORK HOURS : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm; Occasional After Hours Needed.
WORK LOCATION : In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS : The starting hourly wage is $20.05 per hour and will increase to $20.85 per hour after 6 months of successful probation .

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
A high school graduate or GED equivalent is required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
One (1) year of relevant work experience in semi-skilled construction, maintenance tasks on water distribution and sewer collection systems, or other related maintenance, mechanical or construction work is preferred.
