PRODUCT ENGINEER
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The responsibilities listed here for this position are not all inclusive. Responsibilities vary by customer and scope of the projects being managed. One of the most important aspects of this position is to continuously monitor the quality of work with respect to exceeding the customer’s expectations. A working knowledge of quality assessment programs is imperative as well as the ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to fulfill the requirements of the job.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead and direct the activities of multi-functional teams required to support and achieve customer goals. The successful candidate will possess the ability to perform root cause analysis and reporting using industry related methodology.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: At least a BS in EE, ME, ChemE, Materials Science, Physics, or Chemistry from an accredited institution. Some formal training in business with emphasis on sales and marketing of capital goods is a plus. Evaluation of a combination of formal education in other (BS and/or post graduate level work) disciplines and directly related experience may be made in lieu to the stated requirements.
