JEC Miller, Inc is currently hiring full-time House Supervisors! We are looking for House Supervisor qualified candidates who are passionate about providing person centered supports and empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:

The House Supervisor works closely with the Designated Manager to ensure compliance and to provide coaching and mentoring to direct support professionals.

Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to): The House Supervisor will ensure the cleanliness of the house, inventory and ordering of household supplies, menu planning, ensuring the activities of daily living are met for the individual served, ensuring all aspects of the individual receiving services daily life are person centered. The House Supervisor will assist in scheduling, transporting, and ensuring individuals are up to date on all medical appointments. The House Supervisor will assist with staff scheduling and ensuring staffing patterns are met. Ensure all required documentation is being completed. Adhering to the training requirements outlined in 245D.

Requirements:

Ability to pass a background study, valid Driver's license with a clean record, at least 1 year supervisory experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Experience with Behavioral and Mental Health preferred.

Experience with working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Education and/or experience with the intellectually disabled in a residential setting preferred.

Applicants should be willing to provide Direct Support, and be passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities.

Following all recommendations from MN Dept. Health and CDC Guidelines.

Required Skills:

• House Supervisor are responsible for helping the individuals with their tasks of daily living. The individuals we work with vary in abilities and staff are required to assist in tasks of daily living such as bathing and toileting as needed.
• The individuals we work with also require a staff person that is engaged and willing to participate in activities of the adult's choice and be committed to helping them achieve their goals while enjoying their lives.

Qualifications:

- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.

- 21 years of age or older

- Ability to pass DHS background study

Preferred Education:

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field
