About the Role We have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a Accounts Payable Officer to join our Salvos Store Finance team in Blackburn. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for accounts payable processing and associated tasks in a timely and accurate manner to support The Salvation Army retail stores. Key responsibilities: Accounts Payable: Process Accounts Payable invoices, Petty Cash and the reconciliation of suppliers’ statements and review, verify for payments. Accounts Receivable: Ensure that all invoices are processed correctly and timely. Maintain the debtor detail and update the AR ledger/chart frequently. Reporting: Assist with the production of various financial and management reports. Prepare monthly accruals and assisting with month end and year end closing and reporting. Provide support and assistance as required in the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Financial Management. About You The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with demonstrated experience in high volume invoice processing. Key Capabilities: Diploma in accounting is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
