Job Description:

Title: Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Shift: 12 hr Shift

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours (12x3)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or authorized prescribers
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
• Tracking routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.
• Monitoring, interpreting, and recording data from specialized medical technologies and equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care
• Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare procedures and disease prevention
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

Requirements:

• Valid MA RN license (Required).
• 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience in hospital setting (Required).
• BLS(AHA) (Required).
• ACLS (AHA)
• COVID and FLU vaccination (Required).

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
