We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing AP processes, with a particular emphasis on manual procure-to-pay systems. The AP Manager will be responsible for overseeing the AP team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee AP Processes: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Manual Procure-to-Pay Implementation: Develop, implement, and optimize manual procure-to-pay processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of AP professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolve any issues or discrepancies, and negotiate payment terms as needed.
• Compliance and Control: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• System Management: Leverage NetSuite (or similar ERP systems) for AP processes, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze AP reports, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and automation within the AP function.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Procurement, Finance, and Operations, to ensure seamless AP processes and support organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Procure-to-Pay Knowledge: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with manual procure-to-pay processes.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in NetSuite or similar ERP systems. Experience with other accounting software is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and utilize financial data.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
