The VP of Finance will oversee all financial operations, manage the finance staff, and implement transformative financial strategies for our eCommerce division. The ideal candidate must be dedicated, resourceful, and can take initiative in leading the division's financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all finance functions, including accounting, controls, and financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely reporting in compliance with GAAP.
• Provide professional management reporting packages and support to the management team to facilitate understanding of profitability drivers for business lines, product categories, and customers.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting operations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the eCommerce segment, aligning financial goals with the business strategy.
• Manage treasury functions including cash management, liquidity forecasting, tax compliance, and reporting.
• Lead working capital management efforts, including optimizing inventory levels and customer/vendor payment terms.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement and manage financial reporting systems for improved financial visibility and quicker decision-making.
• Act as primary contact with the company's audit firm and facilitate the annual audit for the eCommerce division.

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience in finance, with prior accounting and FP&A experience in an eCommerce-focused business.
• Proven expertise in accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and working capital management.
• Knowledge of IT systems and experience collaborating with IT teams to design fast and efficient reporting systems.
• Preferred experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) and eCommerce sectors, particularly Amazon.
• Prior experience in team building, and expansion within finance.
• Mergers and Acquisitions or integration experience will be a favourable asset.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Preferred experience with Acumatica or similar ERP systems.
