Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other finishes to various surfaces. Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
- Remove fixtures and furniture as needed before painting
- Repair and maintain painted surfaces as necessary
- Collaborate with clients or project managers to determine project requirements
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter or similar role
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and tools
- Familiarity with renovating, restoring, and maintaining various surfaces
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for accurate color matching
- Strong understanding of color theory and its application in painting projects
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
