The Reybold Group of Companies, Inc. is Hiring a Collections Specialist Near Bear, DE
Reybold is a a Construction and Property Management Company that has several Residential and Commercial Properties throughout Delaware that is a seeking a Collections Specialist who is responsible for contacting former tenants regarding unpaid balances previously written off as bad debt; persuading them to pay the balance due to avoid litigation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Locating former tenants
- Making telephone calls
- Composing/sending letters
- Tracking tenant payments
- Cross-referencing skip data
- Complying with fair debt collections rules/laws
- Independently accessing tenant and property-level data and updating the general ledger
Education and/or Experience Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the Tenant Landlord Code and appropriate application of its provisions.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with credit and collections
- Minimum of 1 year experience using Microsoft Office products
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal training in Landlord Tenant Code and related topics is a plus

- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must possess quick thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to handle confrontation appropriately and professionally
