Artifact Coffee is a specialty coffee shop run by the James Beard award winning Woodberry Kitchen team, focusing on returning value to growers in the Mid-Atlantic. Located in a beautifully renovated mill in Hampden, Artifact serves breakfast and lunch daily, and hosts private events in the evenings including microweddings and other celebration. We aim to provide excellent, empathetic service in the dining room that feels high-touch and thoughtful.

We are looking for exceptional coffee professionals to work at Artifact. The right candidate is interested in locally sourced food, loves taking care of people and making coffee, and has prior coffee shop or restaurant experience.

Requirements:
-Set up station according to established standards including facilitator station, coffee bar, register, and barista bar.
-Engage with guests with positivity and warmth. Drive an exceptional experience for guests including building rapport with guests and implementing thoughtful touches in the dining room.
-Develop and use menu knowledge including an understanding of our beverages and food menu as well as our network of regional farms we source from.
-Use The Soil, Our Team Standards, and other company policies.

Qualifications:
-1 year working in an independent coffee shop or restaurant
-Interest in working with local ingredients, coffee, and people
-Can stand for 8 hour shifts and lift at least 50 pounds
-Full-time availability preferred, must be able to consistently work a set schedule (ie. Thurs-Sun weekly)

Compensation Benefits:
-Tipped compensation equaling at least $23/hr
