Job Title: Project Engineer (Midstream)
Job Location: Westminster, CO (Hybrid work model)
Salary: $100,000-175,000
Skills: PFD's, P&ID's, Mechanical, Chemical, Midstream oil & gas
We are an energy project execution company primarily engaged in the engineering, design, project management and construction management of oil and natural gas midstream facilities.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop options that can be presented to the Client with economic analyses based on estimated costs.
- Develop project schedules and project cost estimates.
- Manage a team of Staff Engineers to accomplish the calculations necessary to complete a project as well as verify the Staff Engineers work.
- Verify that all required codes are followed within the design of the system. (API, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, AMSE, B31.4, NFPA, etc.)
- Verify that all engineering calculations for the project are appropriately documented.
- Stamp IFC drawings following peer PE review.
- Make significant contributions to Process Hazard Analyses.
- Understand the Pros/Cons of different Construction Contracts (EPC, EPCm,T&M, Lump Sum, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, etc.)
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of all disciplines of Engineering and Project Execution (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Construction, Procurement, etc.)
- Bachelors or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Knowledge and understanding of PFD's and P&ID's.
- Knowledge and operation of ProMax.
- 4 years experience in Midstream oil and gas.
- Strong work ethic and ability to travel to project locations.
