Job Overview:

As TASBO's Instructional Technology Coordinator, you will help maintain and advance the technological backbone of our educational services. This role will both work with our IT service providers to ensure effective management of our IT operations and collaborate with the e-Learning team to ensure the organization is innovating and improving how technology facilitates the professional development and certification of our members. Your role will ensure that TASBO's instructional technology consistently supports our mission and enhances the member experience both online and in-person.

Ideal candidates either come from a technology background (with an interest in learning technologies) or an eLearning background with an interest in instructional technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Liaison: Work with the organization's IT service providers to provide tech support, including system management, troubleshooting, and aiding with the proactive enhancement of our IT infrastructure.
• Learning Management System (LMS) Oversight: Manages the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) by collaborating with the eLearning team including maintaining the LMS content quality, version control and archival information.
• Webinar Management: Responsible for arranging, scheduling, and hosting TASBO’s ongoing webinar series, with the assistance of the eLearning and Certification teams.
• Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related queries within the organization, coordinating with TASBO’s IT service provider to enhance user satisfaction and operational continuity for both TASBO staff and members.
• Policy and Procedures: Work with IT support on implementation of IT policies and procedures that seamlessly integrate into everyday tech operations.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with tech vendors and staff to align IT services, ensuring cost-effective and timely execution of IT initiatives.
• Security and Compliance: Keep TASBO staff abreast of new IT data security and safety protocols as they are rolled out by our IT management services.

Qualifications:

• Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in a technology or education-related field
• Experience Requirement: 2-3 years of experience in managing technology systems with also a preferred background in LMS administration within an educational or nonprofit environment.
• Technical Expertise: Familiarity in managing network systems, data security, and learning management systems, with an understanding of current technology trends and solutions.
• Detail-Oriented Critical Thinker: Ability to analyze issues and develop procedures, offer innovative technology solutions to the organization and its members, and participate in quality assurance for all TASBO’s technology offerings.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, crucial for interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and for providing high-level technical support.
