Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for Performing Oracle WebLogic 11g/12c/14c Administration involving Installation, Configuration, Monitoring, and Performance Tuning.
Responsibilities
- Install WebLogic Server in Dev, QA, UAT and Production environments
- Setup/configure connection pool parameters using jdbc drivers to connect to Oracle database
- Build, deploy and support dev, test, UAT and production environments consisting of multiple WebLogic application domains
- Configure optimum heap memory for the application to run
- Analyze memory issues to improve application performance
- Migration and upgrading of WebLogic Server, updating jdk versions and installing patches for WebLogic server
- Upgrade WebLogic servers from version 11g (10.3.6) to 12c (12.2.1.3) to 14c (14.1.1.0.0)
- Quarterly application of critical patch updates from Oracle
- Utilize Remedy Problem & Change management application for management of problem tickets and production change requests
- Manage change requests as a part of monthly maintenance release activity
- Application setup in a clustered environment
- Manage application related compliance tickets and other security issues
- Monthly/Bi-monthly application of Linux Operating System critical bug fixes
- Setup and configure application in Disaster Recovery environment
- Analyze the critical vulnerabilities identified by security team and remediate those security threats within required timelines
- Setup/troubleshoot new/existing applications and their integrations with internal/external components
- Analyze/implement the steps necessary for relocating the application to a different Data Center
- Create and renew necessary SSL certificates required by the application and other integrations
- Maintain application performance to optimum level
- Install and configure/integrate multiple software’s - Neo4j, Python, Aspera, ElasticSearch
- Migrate entire application from one cloud to another
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. We will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education At least 4 years of related experiencePreferred Qualification:
- Must be extremely proficient with all PC applications – Word, Excel, Power Point, project management tools.
- Strong Communication Skills
- Must be self-motivated and pro-active
- Must be a team player
