Description Collection Supervisor *This position is hybrid remote and will require work onsite at our north Austin, TX headquarters.

What you bring to the team: - A bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum of three years' experience in a related field.
- Experience supervising, coaching, and training a team.
- Thorough working knowledge of bankruptcy documents pertaining to filing claims and supporting credit union's secured and unsecured position.
- A positive attitude to inspire and motivate, create team synergy, and professional interaction and support.
- Excellent verbal, written, listening skills and proficiency in using common office applications and office equipment.
- Passion for providing outstanding service and offering problem-solving solutions.
- Effective time management skills including the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and organize work tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Ownership of the customer experience through issue resolution.
- Adaptable to a productive team environment where knowledge is shared, and feedback and coaching are welcomed.
- Flexibility to work department hours including Saturdays.
Your day-to-day As an experienced leader and coach, you will be an excellent active listener, outstanding communicator, and master problem solver. Your skills and responsibilities will include negotiating settlements, recommending additional collection steps, and working toward mutual goals for the member and Velocity. Additionally, you will support a positive and productive work environment by advancing management's directives and consistently demonstrating a positive example for others.

Work Schedule Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm and occasional Saturdays 9:00am to 12:00pm. Employees may be required to work late based on department needs.
