gpac is Hiring a Lead mechanic Near Atwater, CA
Are you a Mechanic who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who maintains productivity under pressure? Are you a Leader, taking charge and effectively managing a team and a shop?
gpac is partnering with an agricultural power house looking to bring on a Lead Mechanic to run their repair shop and oversee their maintenance schedule.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in servicing belts, elevators, tractors, and trucks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
- Strong leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate and mentor others.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and oversee a team of 2 other mechanics.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on various equipment including belts, elevators, tractors, and trucks.
- Ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with other departments to prioritize repairs and maintenance tasks.
Benefits :
- Full benefits package available after 30 days, including health, vision, and dental coverage.
- Company covers 100% of health insurance contributions.
- 401k program with matching contributions available after 90 days.
Hours :
- During Harvest : Work 7 days a week, 12-hour shifts (lots of overtime).
- Off-season : Work a regular 40-hour week schedule.
