Atlantic City Boardwalk Tramcars is Hiring a Transportation Manager Near Atlantic, NJ

We are a prominent company operating along the lively Atlantic City Boardwalk, offering unique and enjoyable tramcar transportation services to locals and tourists alike.

Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Schedule tramcar staff shifts, supervise daily operations, and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Source, interview, and hire qualified tramcar operators and support staff.
  • Training and Onboarding: Conduct comprehensive onboarding sessions for new employees and provide ongoing training to ensure high-quality service standards.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance evaluation systems and take appropriate actions, including disciplinary measures or termination, when necessary.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Identify maintenance needs of tramcars, coordinate repairs, and ensure vehicles are in optimal condition for operation.
  • Special Event Coordination: Plan and execute tramcar services for special events, including festivals, parades, and corporate gatherings.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints promptly and effectively, striving to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure tramcar operations comply with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in transportation, tourism, or hospitality industries.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and experience coordinating repairs is advantageous.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
