Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The Front Desk Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet and Assist Patients: Welcome patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures, appointment scheduling, and inquiries about our services.
2. Answer Phone Calls and Emails: Handle incoming phone calls and emails promptly and professionally. Provide information, answer questions, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members as needed.
3. Maintain Patient Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records by collecting and verifying demographic information, insurance details, and other necessary documentation. Enter data into the electronic medical records (EMR) system accurately and efficiently.
4. Coordinate Appointments: Schedule patient appointments, follow-up visits, and consultations in accordance with provider availability and patient preferences. Confirm appointments and send appointment reminders to patients as needed.
5. Manage Office Supplies: Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock levels. Keep the area outside the front door, reception area and waiting room tidy and organized.
6. Provide Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and faxing documents. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and provide support as needed.
7: Collections: Obtain and scan Insurance cards, coordinate with Medical Biller. Collect co-pay, fee for service from patients.
8. Other duties: Pull Kaspers, assist with obtaining PAs. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
