We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing specialized accounting functions to support departmental operations.
Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processes bi-weekly payroll.
- Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciles bank statements.
- Processes quarterly taxes.
- Processes and distributes budget reports.
- Balances and closes monthly payroll.
- Prepares monthly defined benefits reports.
Knowledge and skills required include but are not limited to:
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Payroll policies and procedures.
- Accounts payable and receivable policies and procedures.
- Asset management principles.
- Skills in data entry, problem-solving, interpersonal relations, and oral and written communication.
