Job Description
firstPro is seeking an accounts payable specialist to join a great team in the Alpharetta area. The position can pay up to 54k and works 4 days in office and 1 remote. There is great opportunity for growth and career advancement! Please apply if you feel you meet the qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices for accuracy and completeness against purchase orders and receiving reports within the ERP system.
- Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports.
- Research and resolve discrepancies on invoices before processing for payment.
- Apply appropriate general ledger coding to all invoices.
- Schedule and process payments to vendors according to company payment terms and discounts.
- Maintain vendor master data and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date within the ERP system.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable sub-ledger monthly.
- Research and resolve vendor inquiries related to invoices and payments.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures for accounts payable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a full-cycle accounts payable role.
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
