Responsibilities:

• Assist the Credit Manager with overseeing daily operations and establish service process
• Review and assign work to staff; Provide training and coaching to team members
• Evaluate and interpret accounts receivable aging reports
• Assist in the preparation of department monthly and month end closing reports
• Assess creditworthiness of companies applying for credit
• Determine if pending orders can be released from credit hold according to department guidelines and company credit policies
• Ensure credit files are maintained with the most current credit information
• Reconcile accounts and prepare forms for adjustments and refunds
• Monitor sales and payment trends to justify credit limits

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
• 5 years of credit and collections experience in high volume fast paced business
• 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
• Excellent credit investigative skills and ability to assess credit worthiness
• Strong account reconciliation skills
