Bob Evans Restaurants is Hiring a Talent acquisition specialist Near Albany, OH

Discover "Where Good Grows" at Bob Evans Restaurants! The Talent Acquisition Specialist role is an entry-level position, reporting to the Restaurant Support Center under a hybrid remote work model in New Albany, Ohio.

The salary range is $55k-$70k, commensurate with experience.

Statement of Purpose

The Talent Acquisition Specialist performs a variety of functions supporting the recruitment and selection process for Bob Evans Restaurants.

This position collaborates with HR Business Partners to source quality restaurant personnel including hourly team members and restaurant managers.

Accountabilities

  • Supports candidate flow in response to open positions in a results-driven environment.
  • Screens potential applicants for qualifications as compared to job requirements.
  • Ensures a positive seamless candidate experience.
  • Conducts preliminary interviews of qualified candidates. Refers acceptable candidates for the next level of interview, as well as coordinating the actual interview and ensuring candidates take the required assessment(s).
  • Supports the Human Resources Business Partners in making hiring recommendations and extending job offers. Generates job offer letters outlining position details.
  • Creates partnerships with local community organizations and sourcing avenues to create a future pipeline of candidates.
  • Ensures that all efforts toward recruitment are affirmatively acted upon without regard to race, sex, religion, national origin, veteran status, or handicap, and all aspects of the recruiting and hiring process are carried out in accordance with Bob Evans policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Reduces the reliance of third-party recruitment agencies. Maintain metrics to continuously improve the talent acquisition process
  • Responsible for achieving established MIT and manager turnover goals / expected outcomes.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • 2 years of recruiting experience with an emphasis in restaurant or hospitality field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition technology (ATS, social, etc.)
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal and interviewing skills
  • Strong planning and organization skills with a focus on delivering results
  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
