Spa Supervisor

Spa Mirbeau is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Supervisor to assist in day-to-day operations. The Spa Supervisor will report directly to the Spa Manager and will help to motivate and oversee the Spa Attendant and Laundry staff.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests in an excellent and professional manner to exceed guest expectations according to the Mirbeau Standard of Excellence
• Maintain a current knowledge of all spa offerings including: amenities, services, facilities, membership and wellness programs
• Maintain a general knowledge of company standards, policies, and offerings
• Maintain respectful and clear communications with management team regarding any occurrences involving associates or guests that require attention
• Respond to operational concerns with a positive supportive attitude, ensuring staff is motivated and on task throughout the day
• Work cooperatively and professionally with all departments
• Oversee Training and Development for spa and laundry attendants
• Assist with spa recruitment and hiring through interviews to meet business needs
• Properly schedule and manage payroll hours according to business demands and budgets
• Respond to guest opportunities with prompt and responsible attention as well as provide adequate follow up/tracking with the appropriate managers
• Oversee inventory counts for locker rooms, laundry and all public spaces
• Oversee that all spa equipment is working properly and communicate with managers directly on any issues with hot tub, foot pool, saunas, steam rooms, fireplaces, etc.
• Attend regular meetings as directed by Management
• Maintain flexible onsite hours to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Hours may include a blend of days, evenings, holidays and weekends
• Directly assist the spa attendants and/or laundry attendants with shifts

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or higher
• 2 years' experience in spa and/or hospitality management, or related field
• Excellent communication and guest services abilities
• Advanced knowledge in computer use and software applications
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Motivate and inspire the team to encourage their success, both personally and professionally
