JOB TITLE: Finance Specialist (M-F - Albany, NY)

Position Responsibilities:

1. Obtains Authorizations for Patient Care: You'll be responsible for securing timely and accurate authorizations for patient care, ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained to facilitate proper billing procedures.

2. Process Payroll Biweekly: Your duties will include processing payroll on a biweekly basis, meticulously verifying manual entries with supporting documentation, and generating reports as required.

3. Assist with Billing and Collections: Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable (A/R) department to support billing and collections efforts for services provided by the agency, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and followed up on.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with both internal and external billing teams, fostering seamless collaboration and assisting with the export of financial reports as needed to support decision-making processes.

5. Invoice Routing: Efficiently route invoices to clients, maintaining clear communication channels to facilitate prompt payment and resolution of any billing inquiries.

6. Data Integrity Management: Take ownership of data entry tasks within our computer systems, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information at all times.

7. Administrative Support: Provide additional administrative support as directed by the Billing Specialist, contributing to the overall efficiency of our finance department.

8. Confidentiality: Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, maintaining the privacy and security of all sensitive information in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
