8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including pasta, peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers.
The company was formed in October 8 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H.
Lee Partners, ( THL ), a private equity firm.
Responsibilities
Position Summary :
This position will work collaboratively with the site Human Resources Manager and Plant Manager, to initiate and successfully manage efforts for recruitment, training & development, performance management, organization planning, and company social programs.
The HR Generalist will ensure projects are completed in a timely manner, manage resources (internal / external) effectively, and support the business by liaising with the individual departments to understand their objectives, propose solutions and define HR projects to implement those solutions.
The HR Generalist will also serve as a backup for the Human Resources Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Partner with plant leadership on documentation of discipline and development / execution of Performance Improvement Plans, as needed
