Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience OR BA / BS Degree in Agriculture, natural resources, agronomy or related field of study.
Duties :
Enrollee functions as an expert in forest health aerial detection surveys which requires forest damage signature identification and geospatial mapping from small, fixed-wing aircraft.
Other :
iat.gov / Additionally, pre-season annual hearing test for aviation safety needs to be completed. Noise canceling.
Requirement to be in small fixed-wing aircraft without sustaining incapacitating motion sickness. Ability to see sufficient color differentiation for damage mapping.
Also, pre-season hearing test requirement for aviation safety. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
