-Collaborate with the Co-Pastors and Church Council to support the ministry of FCUCC (First Congregational United Church of Christ)
- Oversee the business office, managed by the office manager
- Coordinate and supervise administrative staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Handle human resources tasks such as recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for office supplies and services
- Assess insurance coverage needs and options
- Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and physical
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment to employees
- Assist with budgeting and financial analysis and reporting
- Coordinate meetings and appointments for Pastoral staff
- Provide front desk support, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
```Qualifications```
- Proven experience in office management or similar administrative role
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to effectively supervise a team of administrative staff
- Knowledge of human resource practices and procedures
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
