We will be in need of reliable, mature person with kennel experience to fill part time position at our facility. This is for morning 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. -6:00 p.m.and one weekend day.

Duties are care of dogs, cats, small mammals, this means cleaning of stalls, runs, kitty condos, feeding, administration of medications, some bathing, outdoor playtime, and some office/customer interactions and answering of phones.

MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR HOLIDAYS, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Easter, Spring Break, Memorial Day etc etc. Do not apply if you are gone for these periods. We can make it work for a limited time away, but not every holiday or for long periods.

Must be able to work one weekend day. Need to be flexible with scheduling as you will be required to come in extra over busy periods.

We require references and do background checks.

Qualifications
- Kennel experience
- Animal handling and restraint skills
- Pet care knowledge
- Ability to provide animal care with compassion
- Customer service experience
- Capable of heavy lifting
- Additional skills in dog training or veterinary care are a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
