Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician/ Daycare Attendant/ Boarding Staff to join our team. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support for our furry friends. This position requires a strong passion for animals and the ability to handle various responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel and doggie daycare.
- Feed, exercise, and groom animals according to their specific needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the staff and other dogs
- Assist with administering medications as directed for boarding animals
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals in the facility
- Provide basic obedience training and socialization for dogs
- Assist with animal intake and discharge processes
- Maintain accurate records of animal care activities

Requirements:
- Previous or animal care setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of animal behavior, health, and nutrition
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.25 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
