Job Title: Domestic Aid/Executive Function Assistant
Location: Adam’s Point, Oakland CA - (Near the Wholefoods by Lake Merritt)
Position Type: Part Time - (Full time possible if you are a good fit to help with some of our professional functions in addition to the domestic assistance you’d be providing.)

We are a neurodivergent couple that run a non-profit, and we are seeking a domestic executive function assistant. Our goal is to maintain a well-organized and efficient home environment to support our personal and professional lives. We are looking for a Domestic Aid/Executive Function Assistant to help manage household tasks, which will vastly improve our daily productivity.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Domestic Aid/Executive Function Assistant to handle a variety of household duties. The ideal candidate will have experience managing domestic tasks and a strong understanding of executive function challenges. Your primary role will be to provide support in cooking, cleaning, laundry, running errands, and other domestic responsibilities to ensure our household operates smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare meals according to dietary preferences and schedules
(Preparing our Blue Apron meal subscription recipes, and other basic cooking)
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks around the home
- Manage laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing
- Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and handling returns
- Make phone calls and set appointments for personal and household needs
- Organize and manage household supplies and inventory
- Assist with household organization and decluttering projects
- Provide reminders and support for personal tasks and commitments
- “Body Doubling” - A technique where an individual with ADHD works alongside another person to increase focus, motivation, and accountability in completing tasks.
Qualifications:
- AMAZING vibes, positive, upbeat, can-do attitude of gratitude is a must :)
- Proven experience as a Domestic Aid or similar role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent cooking and meal planning skills
- Experience with household cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of empathy, patience, and understanding
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in household management or related field
- Experience working with neurodivergent individuals - e.g., ADHD, Autism, etc (We are high-functioning)
- Knowledge of strategies and tools for improving household organization
