The Opportunity
Rystad Energy is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Sales & Marketing Team as a Senior Business Development Manager - Investors, to support our fast-growing research and consulting practice within the Investor space in Europe. The successful candidate must have exceptional new business generation skills with experience in solution selling and a background in or selling to this market. As part of the sales team, the role holders can expect the support from our global client-facing research analysts and product specialists.
Any investor exposed to the energy industry (asset managements, private equity firms, insurance companies, hedge funds etc.) will be the main client types touched by this role. Knowledge of these workflows in these areas are critical to the role. Strong negotiation skills, knowledge of the European and Global energy industry, experience in selling services, a consultative selling approach, ability to quickly and effectively establish a presence in new markets and regions, product demonstrations and excellent networking skills are sought.
