Position: Customer Service Representative and Shipping Coordinator

*This position will require an individual to go to our office in Orlando, Florida each day for their shifts; however, much of the training may be done remotely to start.*

Job Description:

As a Customer Service Representative and Shipping Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our shipping department while delivering exceptional customer service for a growing small business in the medical device industry. Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating outbound shipments, including preparing shipping documentation, arranging carriers, and ensuring timely delivery to customers.

- Managing inventory levels to fulfill customer orders promptly and accurately.

- Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and resolving issues promptly.

- Processing orders, generating invoices, and updating customer records in our system.

- Collaborating with internal team members to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any shipping or product-related issues.

- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in the shipping area.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics, customer service, or related field is a plus.

- Prior experience in shipping coordination, logistics, or customer service roles preferred.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with shipping software or inventory management systems is an advantage.

- Must be able to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
