Position Summary:

To provide oversight for all phases of construction projects, including coordinating employees, subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding with quality, on schedule and within budget.

Job Scope:

An Assistant Project Manager holds a supporting role in working with the project team, holding responsibility of working the project from inception to close with detailed knowledge of each project phase and process. The Assistant Project Manager is the central hub of communication for the entire project team, including owner, architect, engineers, subcontractors, project manager and superintendent. The most critical role of the Assistant Project Manager is that of information exchange. He/she makes sure all questions are answered and all those answers are distributed to the team in the field and to the owner representatives.

Essential Functions:

• Assist Project Managers, Superintendents, and Operations Team
• Log, Transmit and Distribute Submittals
• Maintain RFI Logs
• Assist with Production and Distribution of Owner Correspondence
• Coordinate Subcontractor Maintenance of As-Built Documents
• Adhere to Quality Assurance Practices
• Monitor Productivity Tracking
• Assist Project Team with Subcontract Administration through Procore/DocuSign/Sage Software
• Work with Project Manager to Develop Skills for Career Advancement
• Provide Document Control
• OAC Meeting Agendas and Minutes
• Customer/Client Relations
• Project Start-Up
• Project Close-Out

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum of three years of verifiable experience
• Experience with Procure, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suites is also preferred
