Allwell Behavorial Health Services is Hiring an OUTPATIENT CLINICIAN Near Zanesville, OH

Responsible for providing direct clinical services to clients and families; refer and link clients to other Allwell services. Provides mental health crisis intervention as needed. Completes and submits all required documentation.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides mental health assessments, individual, group, marital and family counseling/psychotherapy and crisis intervention.
  • Referral and linkage to other needed Allwell services as well as referral to other community resources.
  • Building relationships with primary care staff.
  • Provides clear, concise and prompt feedback to the primary care practitioner.
  • Provides behavioral health education as appropriate to the primary care staff.
  • Ensures services are delivered professionally and with concern for the client’s well-being.
  • Maintains and submits required documentation within the time frame specified by policy
  • Attends/participates in Allwell clinical and administrative staff meetings.
  • Able to exercise good analysis and judgment in discriminating among many alternatives.
  • Flexibility, adaptability and tolerant of interruptions
  • Knowledge and understanding of medical conditions and interrelationship with mental health condition

Education/Experience/Licensure:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Master’s in Education in Counseling from an accredited program required
  • Must possess and maintain valid Ohio license as a LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC
  • Experience preferred
