Energy Solutions - USA is Hiring a Remote Technical Project Manager I (Remote - US)

We are looking to fill a Technical Project Manager I position as part of our Energy Efficiency Department. This position may be based in any office or remotely. As a member of the Energy Solutions team, you will have a broad impact on energy efficiency markets and greenhouse gas reductions through our work for major North American utilities, program administrators and other national leaders in energy efficiency. This opportunity, paired with Energy Solution's mission driven approach, creates a perfect environment for an individual who wants to exercise their technical and organizational skills while shaping the nation’s energy future.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  •  Enabling the implementation of a suite of energy efficiency and electrification programs through launching and monitoring low-code solutions on Energy Solutions’ proprietary software platforms
  •  Planning and monitoring timelines to complete projects on time and on budget
  •  Ensuring alignment of implementation activities between internal technical teams and consulting stakeholders by gathering program and user requirements
  •  Translating a variety of energy program and equipment details from nontechnical to technical audiences, and vice versa
  •  Conducting user acceptance testing on behalf of web application users
  •  Working with internal clients to debug, reproduce, document, and fix support problems for production web application systems
  •  Providing guidance and training to peers in different roles, and to junior team members completing similar technical support work

Minimum qualifications:

  •  A bachelor's degree with a quantitative focus, e.g. environmental science, engineering, information systems management, a similar quantitative field, or a non-technical field with some technical experience. Degree may be replaced by equivalent work experience
  •  A minimum of 2 years work experience 
  •  Excellent personal accountability and organization, including ability to balance competing priorities
  •  Prior participation in technical projects and/or small technical project teams, for example:
  •  Data cleaning or data standardization projects
  •  Software design projects, including business and functional requirements collection, user interface design, and usability testing
  •  Projects requiring the design and implementation of simple ETL pipelines; or the configuration of moderately complex low- or no-code solutions
  •  Demonstrated commitment to and consistency in quality control practices
  •  Ability to troubleshoot problems involving formulas or complex data sets independently
  •  Excellent attention to detail
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills
  •  Strong organization and project management skills

Compensation is commensurate with experience within the pay band of $78,000 - $90,000.
