Job Details Job Location Virginia - Annandale, VA Salary Range $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 Salary/year Description Job Description: St. John's Community Services (SJCS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as the In Home Supports Manager. As the manager of our In Home Support Services program, you will oversee Direct Support Professional (DSP), the provision of habilitation, personal care, and other support services to individuals living in their own homes or with family members in Virginia and DC. Duties:
Lead and oversee all aspects of the InHome Support Services program, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Manage a team of DSP, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality support services that meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual client as outlined in the Individual Support Plans.
Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, community partners, and funding agencies to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability.
Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the field of in-home support services in VA and DC.
Manage program finances, including developing and monitoring budgets, maximizing resource utilization, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Identify areas for program improvement and implement strategies to enhance service quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Ensure direct on-site staff and management staff sufficient to achieve the outcomes stipulated in the Individual Support Plans (ISPs) of individuals served and to ensure their safety and security at all times, Provide direct coverage in emergencies.
Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the human services field Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs preferred Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and teams Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing in-home support services
