Job Summary:
The Kitchen Manager at The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring the highest level of food quality and service. This individual will be a key member of the culinary team and will work closely with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience. The Kitchen Manager will also be responsible for the training, development, and supervision of kitchen staff. This is a full-time, hourly position located in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
• Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Create and revise menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef
• Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to kitchen staff
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure efficient and timely service
• Assist in special events and catering, as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a kitchen management role
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of maintaining high food quality standards
• Knowledge of food and labor cost controls
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
