The Role:

You will play a key role in the HR management of our organization. Working closely with our leadership team, our consultants, and our external payroll firm, you will be responsible for the day-to-day HR operations. This position requires a strong understanding of HR principles and attention to detail. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, financial policies and procedures.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll in Paycom for all employees to completion including paying and filing all payroll taxes
  • Maintain and verify employee timesheets for accuracy and timely entries
  • Reconcile and file all payroll quarterly and annual payroll taxes including W-2’s, Federal and State Withholding and Unemployment
  • Review applications and schedule interviews
  • Build a pipeline of suitable candidates for future openings
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR filing system
  • Ensure legal and ethical compliance with local, state and federal laws
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree and/or Certificate in HR
  • 5 years of HR experience required
  • 5 years experience in managing payroll
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Knowledge of HR systems and procedures; Paycom preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
